Happy Hump Day!
Can you believe the week is already half over?! How’s does that happen?!
I thought I would link-up with Mandy today for her monthly “Stop & Smell The Roses” vlog party. I haven’t vlogged in a while & was feeling kinda rusty! Not to mention that since I only vlog once every 3 months, my imovie skills get a little rusty too! I find myself having to re-learn imovie every time I need to edit a video….super annoying!
But, hey, that’s just even more reason why I need to vlog more frequently, right?
I really need to make vlogging a regular part of my blogging routine. I always like to see the faces behind the blogs that I read & I think that its nice to hear the voice behind the words that are typed on the screen. Don’t you?!
I hope you enjoy my video today! I’m talking about our recent trip to St. Louis!

Another great thing about our vacation….we were able to do so many things in the city without spending a ton of money! And let’s face it, coming home from vacation with money still in the bank, makes the trip feel like even more of a success!! Am I right?!
I took lots of pictures on our trip & I’m planning on a doing a little recap for you guys!
Plus, I am planning on sharing some tips on how you & your family can visit St. Louis on the cheap! Stay tuned for that! 🙂

Hi Tonya! I just found you through Mandy’s linkup! I totally feel ya about having to relearn iMovie every time you make a new vlog. I’m trying to vlog more too, but I’m struggling with finding a balance between sharing my personal life and keeping my site professional for my business. I thought your video was so great, though! You’re so comfortable in front of the camera, and your vacation sound like a blast, even though it wasn’t the one you originally planned.

Glad u had a fun holiday … I am sure u were bummed out but made the most of it and even took your sweet boys along!! I am with u all the way about school starting… I feel like bawling already;(. One starts gr 1 and one kindergarten …. Just the way their bays fall they r only a school yr apart. Have a wonderful day Tonya… Love ur blog!

I mean, I of course already love you to pieces, but watching you on camera makes me love you even more!! Glad you had a great trip to STL! I need to pick your brain about City Museum…we’ve been wanting to go there!
Thanks Mandy! You are seriously too kind! City Museum is fun, but kind of stressful. One million kids + One million tunnels = Multiple chances of losing your children! Wear tennis shoes & be prepared to climb with them every step of the way!! Overall the place is awesome & we would definitely go back!!

I am supposed to take a trip next May for a conference so I may be picking your brain about that.

I LOVE your blog. You are such a sweetheart and a wonderful loving mom. You bring back so many precious memories of when I was a young mother to my three ( now grown up daughters). I remember only too well how painful it was when summer was over and they had to go back to school. Being a mom is all I ever wanted to be growing up and I loved it . You are truly a natural on video and you have a way of making anything you talk about so interesting. Thank you so much for sharing parts of your life with us.
