Happy Friday Friends!
I hope you guys have had a great week!
Today, I would like to share a beautiful & inexpensive girls’ attic bedroom makeover via Lisa, at The Pennington Point. If you aren’t familiar with Lisa, you need to head on over to her blog & say “hello!” She is an AMAZING homeschooling mom of NINE, with a knack for decorating, who also finds time to blog and run a successful Etsy business!! The next time I am feeling overwhelmed, I am gonna take just a minute & think about what it would be like to walk in Lisa’s shoes!
Seriously, Lisa, you may just be my HERO!
I saw this attic bedroom makeover on Lisa’s blog about a month ago & knew it would be perfect for this series! Not only did this room turn out beautifully, but Lisa (with the help of her daughters) managed to put it all together for right around $200! Not too shabby considering all the new additions in this space!
Let’s first take a look at how the room started….
This is picture was taken before Lisa’s daughter, Hope, moved out of this space & into her own room. The new room would be a space for two!
And here is what it looks like now…..
GORGEOUS!!
My most favorite part of this room makeover?! Without a doubt, is that FABULOUS back wall!!
Lisa’s girls chose all of the words to go on the wall, then Lisa arranged them, & the girls painted them! It turned out beautifully & makes such a statement in the room!
I LOVE IT!!
You must head on over to Lisa’s blog to check out more pictures of this space & read about all the details! I love how thrifty she was with this makeover! It just goes to show you that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to get a beautiful room! 🙂
While you are visiting Lisa’s blog, be sure to check out the wonderful 31 Day series that she has going on right now!!!
And if you’re in the mood to shop, be sure to check her out on Etsy as well!! Her shop is full of burlap & all kinds of other adorable goodies!!!

Tonya! You bless my socks off! This is the nicest thing….seriously. Thanks a million.
But please don’t make me your hero. Maybe it will help if I tell you that it is almost noon and I still haven’t gotten dressed or brushed my teeth. See? I’m a hot mess. 🙂
Lisa~
LOL! Lisa, you totally crack me up!
Tonya,
I LOVE that fun idea on the back wall! I am such a fan of Lisa’s 🙂 She is truly talented and such a great writer!
Great feature!

Lisa, you are really hero. Leading a life with 9 children require you to have super powers. I appreciate your passion for blogging, and great bedroom makeover.
Stay awesome.

I love all the words that are on the back wall. They are really inspiring. Joy, music create. These are all words you want to wake up and look at.
