So……
I’m used to getting questions about paint colors & other DIY related topics delivered to my inbox.I mean, you would expect that since I write a DIY/Home Decor blog, right?!
But something funny has happened in the last few months…
You all have become interested in my HAIR?!ย
NEVER did I think I would start getting HAIR related emails….
NEVER did I think I would get readers asking me to send them pictures of my hair so that they could take them to their stylist for an upcoming appointment….
NEVER did I think that I would be doing a video tutorial showing you all how I fix my hair on a day-to-day basis…
BUT, Never Say Never!! ๐
If this is what you guys are interested in, then this is what I’m gonna blog about!
However, I hope you know that it’s ONLY because I LOVE YOU ALL so much!!
I hope this video & the pictures I’m providing in this post will help to answer all of your guys’ questions!! Let me just preface the video by saying that I am by NO MEANS a hair professional. I am just doing my best to show you how I fix my hair! Whether or not it is the best way to fix it…..I’m not real sure about that, but it works for me and that is all that matters!
So without further ado….here I am fixing my hair in front of a camera (awkward!)
Hope you enjoy!! ๐
Pretty simple, right?!
It really is super easy to fix & style, but ONLY because my stylist does an amazing job with my cut! Because, let’s just be honest….it’s hard to have great hair without a great cut!
Am I right?!
And just in case anyone else is wanting pictures of my hairstyle from the different angles, here they are for your pinning or printing pleasure….
Thank Youย all so much for your sweet comments & emails regarding my hair!
You guys are SERIOUSLY too sweet!!
So, there you have it!!
Is there anything I missed?!
Just leave your questions in the comment section below or shoot me an email!!

I’m so glad you posted this! Your hair is adorable ๐
I have been waiting all week for this. You know I love your hair. Appointment next week – this video will be shown. ๐ Thanks again!!!
So cute! I really like your bangs too- it’s like the perfect side-swept look ๐
So pretty! Loved the cute little video ๐
Great video – you are too cute! Makes me want to fear the straightening iron a little less… ๐
I just came over to your blog from Mandy’s!!! I love your blog and your hair!! Great Video ๐ I’m a new follower!
Been reading your blog for a while now and was just thinking I was going to write and ask to see a pic of the back of your hair! I’m so glad you posted this! Love your style.
Gorgeous, as always. Your hair is very similar to mine in the back! Without that layering I wouldn’t have like any volume!
Lovely tutorial, thanks for sharing! ๐ xoxo
Well… if I was young…. if I looked good with blonde hair….. and if it was short….. and if I was as cute as a bug, I would want to take your hair photo to my stylist too. Instead, my stylist would think I was bringing your photo to say you look like her! But it would be funny to take it and say, can you make me look like that?
~Bliss~
Yay! I’ve been waiting for this post. Love your hair. I’m shocked that you use so little product and simple styling techniques. Makes me feel better because I’m the same way when it comes to beauty products and styling. I think that’s why I was interested in your cut. I want something that is super low maintenance. Thanks for sharing!
Super cute! I think you need to show us how you do the ‘curly look’ with your hairstyle! ๐
Hello
I came across this blog by sheer accident. I was doing a google image search of stacked bobs and your image came up. I want to thank you so much for posting all the different angles of your bob haircut. I will be getting my hair cut next week and can’t wait. I too have blonde hair, but my hair texture is very fine and I dont have a lot to work with. I will need to use a lot of product and tools to achieve this look on a daily basis, but feel up to the challenge LOL. Thanks again for the awesome pictures. Can’t wait to follow your blog as well.
I just stumbled upon your blog today and the first thing I thought was – “Love her hair!!” You’re too sweet to post a video and pictures. How fun to see!
I would also love to see how you style this cut “curly”. Could you please post this or send me an e-mail @ cbeck3@hotmail.com.
Thanks!
I agree! I love this style curly…but I have no idea how you do it!
i just came across your blog by searching out invert bobs on google. alot of the pictures on there have little to no volume, so i am glad to find your site with all the pictures. thanks for the post!
What happened to the video? I have a similar haircut and just have so much trouble with it.
Hi Jen!
I’m not sure what happened to the video! Must not have been transferred when I moved my blog from blogger to WordPress. However, it is still on my FAQs page. Here is the link! https://loveoffamilyandhome.net/faqs
Thanks for letting me know! I will get this fixed ASAP!
I luv your hair. I have very fine textured hair and was wondering if yours is thick and does it have natural wave or curl? Would love to wear mine like yours but not sure it would look like yours because of the fine texture and its very straight.
Thanks Amy! My hair is pretty thick. My hairdresser actually thins it out quite a bit every time I go in for a trim. I also have a little bit of natural wave/curl.
I’ve been letting my pixie cut grow out for 6 months now so I can have your cut. I’m finally there and going tomorrow to have it shaped he same way! I simply love the way you style it when curly all over. Do you use hot rollers to achieve that look? I know my hubby would love for me to style mine the same way. If you have time would you mind sharing. Thanks so much! Blessings
Hi Sara!
A lot of the curl & body that I have is from a natural curl/wave that I already have. I just style it with mouse and/or gel & scrunch it while blow drying. The areas that don’t want to curl on their own, are curled with a curling iron.
I absolutely love your hair…I have went twice with the same pictures posted here to get the cut you have, both times have been a failure. The cuts were cute but nothing like yours. What exactly do I need to tell the stylist to get it cut like yours? I have thick hair and they’ve told me it wouldn’t work with my thick hair.
Thanks,
Stephanie
I love your hair. I found your video very helpful. I do have a question. I’ve went twice to try and have my hair cut like yours but each time the stylist didn’t cut it the way I wanted. They would tell me because my hair was thick but fine they wouldn’t cut it this way. What exactly do I need to tell them so they cut it like yours?
