Stop & Smell The Roses……Week 3

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!
It’s time for another “Stop & Smell The Roses” vlog!!
I’m linking up with my friend Mandy from House of Rose!! If you missed my last vlog & are wondering what this is all about, I will give you a little overview at the start of the video!
Last time I linked up with Mandy, I told you I was going to have to look into editing software for my videos. I had tried using Windows Movie Maker that we already had on our computer, but had little success with it, and found it very difficult to use!!

This week, I did a little research online & came across a FREE editing software available for download called Video Spin. It has made my video editing life so much easier!! I did have to watch a few tutorials on YouTube to completely figure it out, but overall, it has definitely been an easier alternative!!

So, without further ado….Here is my vlog for this week!!!
Got something your thankful for this week?!
 Shoot a video & link-up with us!!

  1. Look at you and your editing skills girl! So impressed!! I love the pictures in the photo booth of you and Parker! I’m thinking I won’t show this vlog to my Parker or he will demand a date to The Lorax! Thanks for the reminder though that we should devote one-on-one time to our kids! So true and I don’t do it nearly as often as I should! Thanks for linking up and supporting me even though it was a pain in the rear this week! You know I love you! 😉

  2. I have been vlogging for years and don’t use software–I like that my vieos look homemade. But this is great that you found something free that helps you edit!

  3. I agree…we so need one-on-one time with our kiddies. Just the other day Blake and I had a mommy/son trip to Panera for a cinnimon roll and even though we can’t chat much yet, I think he had a great time just hanging with mama. Your vlog was super cute…love the photo collage 🙂

  4. As a teacher, I love to hear stories from parents spending one on one time with kids. Loved this!

  5. I loved it. I am seriously considering doing a vlog.for the link up.

  7. Such an adorable video Tanya!! Parker is such a cute kid, you are one lucky Momma! Hope y’all had a great weekend!

  8. Thank you for the editing link! I can’t wait to try it out. I definitely remember my dad making sure to schedule individual time with each of us when we were younger. Those are some great memories! Actually he still does it. He requested breakfast just the two of us the day before my wedding.
