Sorry I have been a little absent from this blog in the last week!!
I have been busy working outside & trying to
get the yard cleaned up!!
I showed you a month or so ago the side of the house where we throw all of our crap that we don’t know what to do with…
And I told you I was sick of looking at it…
So I decided that I was gonna clean it up!
This is what it looked like after I got done….
I transplanted some hostas from my front yard, a few mums, & then added one of my favorite annuals…
Impatiens!!
These things LOVE water & lots of shade!
So I am expecting they are going to do well on
this side of the house!
It is almost always shaded & always damp. And
when they are in a spot where they like it…
they get HUGE!!
See what I mean?
No this is not my yard, but maybe with a little LOVE my impatiens will look like this by mid summer!!
So after adding the impatiens, hanging my window boxes, & filling them with some pretties…
This is what the side of the house is looking like now…

Ahhh…much better!!
I still have to get some shutters to add to the window & I still have to figure out how I am going to finish out this flower bed. I can’t decided if I wanna add some pavers or just build it up with some soil & mulch…

And I love my clematis…
