Finding Inspiration in Blogland…

I posted this picture a week or two ago & although I am very happy with how this space is developing…there was one area I just wasn’t completely happy with…
See that space above my newly painted cabinet….BLANK SPACE!!
I can’t take it!!
Then while surfing the web & checking out some of
 my favorite blogs…
I came across this kitchen on “Finding Fabulous” a blog which finds & features all things fabulous across the world wide web! They featured this beautiful vintage kitchen from “Flea Market Trixie”
Gorgeous…right?
See that cute little “EAT” sign on the wall…that was my inspiration for this project!
And so I began…
I bought these letters from Hobby Lobby….
And this pretty paper which coordinated with the color of my kitchen…
I traced the letters out of the paper & then got to work decoupaging the paper to the letters with Mod Podge…
Then I hung them above the cabinet with sticky tack…
This was such a quick & easy project and I absolutely LOVE how it turned out!
It was the perfect fit for this once empty space!!
What do you all think?!?
Although I am not a big scrapbooking person…I have always adored all of the beautiful scrapbook paper out there! So glad I have found another way to use it!
I’m linking up at these fabulous sites…
