Front Porch Decorated For Fall….

Hey Friends!!
Are you all LOVING this weather as much as I am?!  Seriously, why can’t it be this beautiful all year round?!
Last Thursday evening we spent a few hours hanging outside as a family & I  FINALLY got my (very small) porch decorated for Fall….

What do you think?!

I thought it turned out pretty cute!!

There are lots of fabulous fall goodies packed in to this small space, but my favorite by far, is this adorable scarecrow bench that my mom gave me a few years back….
Isn’t he just too cute?!
And what would a fall porch be without some big & beautiful fall mums?!
Or some cute little pumpkins?!
The larger orange pumpkin on the left is actually fake, but the trio of smaller pumpkins are real. I bought them in the produce section of Walmart for around $3.00.
I may have gone overboard with the mum photos, but I honestly couldn’t help it!  I mean, just look at how GORGEOUS these babies are!!
I bought all of my mums at Rural King. The two larger ones were $5.99 a piece & the smaller one was $7.99 (because it came in that cute little basket…..totally worth the extra 2 bucks!)
I’ve had this rug since the beginning of the summer. I think I bought it at Lowes…..sorry it’s been a few months ago and my brain just isn’t what it used to be!! I’m blaming it on the kids! Anyone else?!
And of course, my front door is decorated with my DIY Fall Yarn Wreath that I made a couple weeks back….
I think the bunting is my favorite part….

In case you missed it, you can see the full wreath tutorial HERE.
So, that pretty much concludes the tour!
Doesn’t take too long to see everything in this small space!! 🙂
Have you decorated your porch for Fall yet?!
Do you primarily decorate with pumpkins & mums or do you incorporate other fall elements into your decor?!

If you have a fall porch that you would like for me to see, just leave a link in the comments section! I would LOVE to see it!

  1. Tonya, I’ve been enjoying looking through your blog this morning and seeing your beautiful home! The porch looks great….very cheerful and welcoming. I just love a fall porch! Lisa~

  2. Looks good! My porch is across the whole front of my house so I get overwhelmed with too much space! I need to start somewhere…thanks for the ideas.

  3. you already saw my front porch 🙂

LOVE yours! That scarecrow bench is adorable and just makes the porch! I hope you take some pictures of your cute little guys out there with it 🙂 Love all your mums! And I got my small pumpkins at the same place – love those striped ones.

I am glad to see I am not the only one with an offcentered door at the end of the porch. I would LOVE to have a centered door with a few steps leading up to it. I can imagine candles/decor/lanterns/pumpkins/mums/whatever on the stairs leading up to the doors and being able to flank the doors with parallel topiary trees or lit trees at Christmas 🙂

So I can’t wait to see what you do with yours at Christmas and need to see if you have posted porch ideas before. I need some inspiration to work with what I have 🙂

  4. I love your front porch! I can’t believe the larger pumpkins is not real! I have the same doormat as you, great taste! I am not decorating my front entryway this year, I don’t want to call attention to it. It’s too unsightly, fading door, grass is dead, and weeds are growing. We are planning on redoing the front next spring. In the meantime I will just admire all the ones I see on the Internet!

  5. I think it looks great and I am partial to the white mums I have them on my porch.

  6. That scarecrow bench is too stinkin cute!

  7. Seriously..can you come and decorate my porch?? This is so perfect!

I never thought of putting mums on our front porch, but that’s such a great idea!

  8. Where can I get that scarecrow bench? It’s just so cute.

    • Hi Debbi! Thank you! The scarecrow bench is my favorite too! Unfortunately, my mom & dad made it together several years ago & do not make them for resale! 🙁
