Simple Spring Tablescape (Green & White)

2 Flares 2 Flares ×

Hey Friends!

I don’t know if you’ve noticed or not, but there have been some beautiful Spring/Easter tablescapes popping up all over blogland this last week or so. I’ve been so inspired by them, that I wanted to put together a little tablescape of my own.

Something else you may or may not have noticed….I’m kinda obsessed with GREEN right now. First, it was my Split Pea Wreath, then, my Spring Mantel. I think the obsession has to do with the fact that I’m so desperate for things to green up outside! I don’t know about you all, but I’m a little sick of all the brown stuff I see out my window.

I couldn’t help but let the obsession continue…..

I tried to decorate with things I had on hand. Some pretty fabric, a few boxwood stems (off my bushes outside) & a simple monogram egg make a picture perfect table setting, wouldn’t you agree? You don’t have to spend a lot of money to create something beautiful.

Add inexpensive white tulips from the grocery store & a simple spring tablescape is born 🙂

It makes my Type A personality very, very happy.
I grabbed some burlap from my stash & added these placemats that I’ve used before HERE and  HERE.  I love the texture they add to the tablescape.

Almost as much as these tulips. I don’t think there is a flower that I love more….

Now all I need are some dinner guests…..

Who wants to come over?!

If you are wondering how I created the monogram eggs. I just bought some brown eggs at the grocery store and hard boiled them. Then, I just used a stencil & a fine tipped sharpie in black to add the monogram. Kinda sweet, huh?

Have you been decorating?!

What color seems to be making its way into your Spring decor?

As always, thanks so much for stopping by!!

I hope you leave feeling inspired! 🙂

Simple earthy elements (e.g., boxwood sprigs, monogrammed eggs, and burlap) add texture and continue the au natural vibe.
