I bought a large can of soup & a package of pencils (I ended up using 30 pencils total). I tore the label off the soup can, emptied it, and cleaned it out well.

Super cute and so simple! Thats my kind of craft! I’ve gotta get this in my school room ASAP! Here via HofH, so happy to be a new follower! I’d love if you stopped by brand new blog when you get a chance. http://www.feathersandsunshine.blogspot.com! Have a great day!
That is soooo cute and VERY thoughtful of you. My daughter is a first grade teacher and I know she would be thrilled to get it.
I am a teacher and would love getting that! So neat!
Very cute! I made the exact project on my blog! 🙂

I love this. I don’t have children and am not a teacher but I work in an office and love my desk! hah I am going to treat myself to one of these . . .
Thank you for sharing this great idea.
This is such a cute cute idea! I love that it is inexpensive, but will make a big impact in a classroom!
When I was teaching, I would have loved one of these!
Saw this at The Sunday Showcase linkup party. What a cute idea!
Really pretty!
Hi! I shared your cute pencil vase on Friday Finds today. Thanks!
I love the blue bow you added as a nice finish touch.
What a great idea! We don’t have a lot of extra money right now but I know this is doable. The only thing I’d change is to use double sided tape instead of hot glue. This way the teacher can dismantle it when the flowers die and put the pencils to good use. I think I’ll make one for the entryway too though- with hot glue so it lasts longer for seasonal use.
